Borrowdale Brooke group donates to Ingutsheni

AS part of the Mother’s day celebrations, a group of 10 women from Greenhill suburb in Bulawayo donated groceries at Ingutsheni Hospital as a way to spread their love.

The group, Borrowdale Brooke, consists of women who are widows and pensioners. They donated bags of mealie meal and packs of Vaseline.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the chairperson of the group Sibongile Dube said their goal is uplifting and helping the vulnerable people in their communities.

“As a group, our goal has been to help the vulnerable people in our communities, we started off by giving out Christmas hampers to widows and orphans.

“This year, we decided to celebrate with our children at Ingutsheni Hospital and we hope that this donation will go a long way in addressing their needs,” said Dube.
