HIGHLANDERS mean business.
Heavy earth-moving machinery has roared to life at the Highlanders Sports Club, tearing into the ground as work begins on a massive facelift for the iconic Bosso clubhouse.
The spotlight is on a perimeter wall project that will not only give the facility a fresh new look but also open doors to corporate branding and revenue generation.

“We’ve started trenching and hope to finish that within hours. From there, it’s on to laying the foundation,” said Jabulani Nkomo, the man driving the project. Nkomo worked on the idea with the late legendary former Bosso chairman Ndumiso Gumede.
Nkomo is confident the 257-panel wall will be up within two weeks, standing tall as a proud boundary around the clubhouse.
“This is about upgrading the face of Highlanders and creating opportunities. The wall will be a platform for branding, advertising, and long-term sustainability,” he added.
The buzz around the project has already ignited excitement in the Bosso faithful, eager to see their beloved club take steps toward self-sufficiency.
