THE Highlanders Football Club leadership, on a business tour of Europe, has arrived at their final destination, Brussels, Belgium.

Bosso is set for a major revamp, if at all, the trip to South Africa and Europe by the team’s top brass as well as key members of the secretariat commits to replicate the way the game of football is administered.

Bosso chief executive officer Ronald Moyo together with communications and marketing Officer Nozibelo Maphosa left the country yesterday for the PAN Africa Sports management conference to be held in South Africa.

This comes on the backdrop of the club’s decision makers’ tour to Europe in a familiarisation visit of how the game of football is run elsewhere, especially in the First World.

For a club with such a huge status in Zimbabwe and the African continent, Highlanders should benefit immensely from the European tour.

The 10-day tour, which is facilitated by the club’s principal sponsor Sakunda Holdings saw board chairman Luke Mnkandla, executive committee chairman Johnfat Sibanda, executive committee secretary Morgan Dube and treasurer Busani Mthombeni seek possible relations with European clubs while also learning modern-day football trends.

Last night, they watched Anderlecht take on Club Brugge in a Belgian Pro League fixture as they wound up their European tour.

The team has toured France, Spain, England and are is now Belgium where they are expected to visit academies in the Western European country. PSG in France, Barcelona in Spain, Manchester United, Manchester City as well as Liverpool in England were some of the top clubs that the Bosso hierarchy visited.

Dynamos, who are also sponsored by Sakunda Holdings are also expected to have a team traveling to Europe soon. – @innocentskizoe
