HIGHLANDERS has let go the midfield duo of Rahman Kutsanzira and Elshaamar Farasi while retaining defender Andrew Tandi whose contract has been extended by a year.
Kutsanzira’s contract lapsed on December 31, 2023 while Farasi was on a one-year-loan agreement from Bulawayo City FC which will not be renewed.
Tandi also had his contract expiring on December 31, 2023 but appears to have won over the technical team which has opted to keep him.
“We are delighted to announce that Andrew Tandi has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until December 2024,” the club announced.
Tandi saw little action last season as Peter Muduhwa and Mbongeni Ndlovu partnered in Bosso’s central defence.

With Ndlovu now at FC Platinum, Bosso are certainly going to have a different central defensive pairing this season with Tandi being an option.
It remains to be seen if the club will extend Ray Lunga’s contract which also expired at the end of last year.
The midfielder, who is training with the team, will have to put in the work if he is to be in Kelvin Kaindu’s plans as he has had a disappointing two seasons.
Highlanders made their first signing last week with midfielder Marvin Sibanda penning a three-year deal with the club.
Sibanda, aged 25, was with Little Rock Rangers in the United States.
His coming to Bosso was seen as a boost for the team that has so far lost Brighton Manhire and Ndlovu to FC Platinum. – @innocentskizoe.
