Botswana President Boko tours National Heroes Acre

Botswana President Duma Boko has toured the National Heroes Acre, where he laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

President Boko is in the country for a three-day State visit and is expected to co-preside over the Zimbabwe-Botswana Bi-National Commission with President Mnangagwa.

At the national shrine, President Boko first inspected the Guard of Honour before laying the wreath.

He was accompanied by his Cabinet Ministers, including Minister of International Relations, Foreign Affairs, Home Affairs, Transport and Defence, as well as Zimbabwe’s Tourism and Hospitality Minister Babra Rwodzi.

President Boko is this afternoon expected to visit the Museum of African Liberation and Geo Pomona.
