ANEW magazine television show called “411” produced by Decent ArtHouse and Son of Africa will be coming soon to a screen near you.Executive produced by Philip Chiyangwa, produced by Rufaro Kaseke and directed by Joe Njagu, the programme will be aired on most satellite channels including ZBCTV, M-Net, Vox TV UK, Klear TV UK and Mzansi TV, to mention a few.
“The idea of the show came after the realisation that good television holds power to promote our works of art and subsequently create a phenomenon around our artistes and achievers in general.
“Accompanied by a highly competent crew with traceable records, high end gear and colourful content, this show will become the glossy info zone for the Zimbabwean and African artistes,” Kaseke said.
The highly energetic magazine television show promises to give an impetus to the Zimbabwean art and entertainment scene.
Hosts of the show will be Kaseke and SFM’s delectable Monika Chanda.
To be featured on the show include the likes of Tariro NeGitare aka TNG, Shingi Shoniwa of the United Kingdom-based Noisettes, Guspy Warrior and Tongai Arnold Chirisa among others.
Kaseke, who was born on March 14, 1980, is known for his extraordinary storytelling abilities.
He took the producer’s chair in Zimbabwe’s first action film, demonstrating three key traits – dedication, passion and perseverance.
The Samuel Goldwyn-inspired producer has been working in the local film industry for the past 10 years, attaining experience with features, short films, television commercials and documentaries.
With his last project, “Lobola”, shot under his studio The Decent ArtHouse, attaining major financial success and ushering new film stars, Kaseke was confident “The Gentleman” would not only go regional but international due to its universal appeal as a foreign film, which it did to Kaseke’s pleasure.
Kaseke went into the film business at the tender age of 21 and is working towards positioning himself as a powerful executive producer with keen interest on policy implementation with regards to entertainment law in Zimbabwe.
He says the sky is the limit.
