BREAKING NEWS: Operation Restore Legacy ends

The Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) have today brought to finality Operation Restore Legacy handing over all policing duties to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP). Speaking at a media briefing, Zimbabwe National Army Commander Lieutenant-General Philip Valerio Sibanda said the operation had, to a large extent, achieved its goals urging the general populace to support the ZRP.

Lt-General Sibanda also urged the police force to do their duties diligently and called for peace as the country prepares for the 2018 harmonised elections.
