VETERAN striker Obadiah Tarumbwa has parted ways with former Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Chicken Inn amid revelations that he has joined ambitious Southern Region Division One side Talen Vision.

Chicken Inn secretary general Tavengwa Hara said Tarumbwa had asked to be given more playing opportunities hence they decided to release him to Talen Vision.

“We have released Obadiah Tarumbwa to Talen Vision. He came out asking for game time and Talen Vision requested for him. We hope he will get the much needed game time in the next six months. The other arrangements are between the two clubs,” said Hara.

Before the development, Ngezi Platinum Stars were reportedly keen on landing the former Highlanders and Bantu Rovers striker  who also had playing stints in Belgium, Cyprus, South Africa and Kenya.

Tarumbwa was in the last six months of his contract at Chicken Inn and the arrival of the red-hot Clive Augusto saw him being relegated to the bench.

The Gamecocks are also said to be working on loaning out striker King Nasama to ZPC Kariba.
