Brig-Gen (Rtd) Albert Nyamuronda dies

THE Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA), Lieutenant-General Asher Walter Tapfumaneyi, has announced the death of Brigadier-General (Retired) Albert Jack Nyamuronda.

He was 67.

Brig-Gen (Rtd) Nyamuronda died on 11 August 2026 at Chitungwiza General Hospital.

He was born in Makoni North District, Manicaland Province, under Chief Chikore.

Brig Gen Nyamuronda is survived by his wife and four children.

Mourners are gathered at House Number 14565, Zengeza 3 Extension, Chitungwiza.

Further details on funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
