HOUSE music sensation Bucie Ngqwiliso has been caught in a big fat lie after she lied to fans on SABC3’s reality television show, What’s For Dinner, by claiming she owns a multimillion rand home in Bryanston, north of Johannesburg. This comes after the Easy to Love hit-maker had appeared on the cooking show with J’Something, claiming she was the owner of the palatial suburban home.
But impeccable sources, who spoke to the People’s Paper, said her claims were nothing but hogwash.
“Bucie was asked to appear on the show hosted by J’Something of Mi Casa. Once you agree to be on the show, the episode will be shot in your own home.
“Instead of taking the producers of the show to her place, she went to someone’s house and claimed she was the owner. She even requested the owner to lie about the ownership of the house,” said a close friend.
It is understood Bucie wanted her fans to believe she had made it big as a musician as she managed to buy a huge mansion.
“Bucie pretended to be the owner of Anna Tang-Allman’s home, a businesswoman who doubles as a musician.
“Anna is Chinese and she’s friends with Bucie and other musicians like Naima Kay and J’Something.
“We were all shocked when we found out she actually misled the public about owning that house.
“You can ask Anna about that and she won’t have a problem responding,” said a source.
Another mole said the producers of the show should also be blamed for allowing this to happen.
“J’Something was caught napping when it was discovered his canned show, Rich Kids, was actually fake after it was revealed that one of the contestants, Angolan-born Alekssandre Fortunato, claimed to be the owner of a mansion in Woodmead, north of Jo’burg.
“This is the same stunt Bucie pulled now on this show.
“I don’t know why people lie just to stay relevant, and when things like this come out, they’re left with egg on their face,” said the mole.
On Friday, the SunTeam visited Anna at home in Bryanston.
Anna, a contestant of SA’s Got Talent’s new season, confirmed she was the owner of the house.
“What’s For Dinner’s last episode was done at my house with Bucie.
“The show was for Bucie and J’Something. I was just providing my house for them to use. She said it’s her house just for entertainment. So let’s keep this secret, please.
“Don’t put it in your newspaper,” said Anna laughing.
On Sunday, when the SunTeam contacted Bucie, she hung up after hearing what the story was about. — DailySun
