BULAWAYO artistes are set to unite for a live music show at a leisure spot in the city on October 3, bringing together performers from different musical backgrounds for a night of entertainment.
The event, being organised under the Iconic Sessions banner, will feature a diverse line-up of local talent, including Dalom Kids, Boss Lady, Peacock, Matshikos, Montana, Sithembile Zungu, Tafula, Gregory Ncube, Jucy of Ma-Jucana and DJ Kalanga.
One of the organisers and performers, Gregory Ncube, said the event was designed to create a platform for local artistes to showcase their talent while giving music lovers an opportunity to experience the diversity of Bulawayo’s music scene.
“We wanted to create a platform where artistes can come together and showcase their different styles. Bulawayo has a lot of talent and events like this give both performers and music lovers an opportunity to connect,” said Ncube.
Ncube said the organisers deliberately brought together artistes from different musical backgrounds to offer audiences a varied entertainment experience.
The show is expected to add momentum to Bulawayo’s growing live entertainment scene, which continues to provide local musicians and performers with platforms to showcase their work and connect with audiences.
