Bulawayo Chiefs sign Ian Nekati

Bulawayo Chief have announced the signing of Warrior’s defender Ian Nekati and Talen Vision midfielder Mandlenkosi Gasela.

Nekati joins Chiefs from city rivals Chicken Inn.

The 31-year-old was part of the Warriors’ squad, which had a disastrous show at the recently held CHAN finals in Cameroon. He has previously played for ZPC Kariba.

Gasela was named the Talen Vision 2018 player of the year and was among the Zifa Southern Region Division One League’ top 11 players of the season.

“Nekati comes in to cement our defence, while Mandla will add more power to our midfield. Now we wait for the Game’s,” Chiefs said in their announcement.

Chiefs have also added Young Warriors’ attacking midfielder Lexington Mujokoro, experienced defender Elvis Moyo, former Highlanders’ utility player Mbekezeli Sibanda and Tarisai Chikwende, young brother of Warriors’ forward Perfect, to their ranks. – @innocentskizoe
