THE City of Bulawayo’s Town Lands and Planning Committee this week in the resort town of Victoria Falls on a strategic look and learn visit.
The initiative forms part of a proactive strategy to foster municipal improvement through direct observation, benchmarking, and engagement with counterparts.

Hosted by the City of Victoria Falls Spatial Planning and Technical Services committees, the visit underscores a growing culture of inter-city partnerships.
This collaboration is hinged on the principles of Sustainable Development Goal 17, which advocates for partnerships as vital tools to achieve sustainable development and improved service delivery.

The delegation commenced its program with a formal meeting at the Victoria Falls council chambers, where planning philosophies and administrative processes were discussed.
The agenda includes comprehensive tours of various town facilities and infrastructure projects, where Bulawayo officials aim to glean insights applicable to their own city’s development challenges and opportunities.
