Bulawayo Investment dinner set for Johannesburg

A BULAWAYO investment gala dinner has been set for Johannesburg, South Africa with organisers saying the event is aimed at attracting investors, fostering partnerships, and showcasing the vast investment potential in the country’s second largest city.

The dinner, which is set to be graced by the city’s Mayor, Councillor David Coltart on 25 November,  will also feature various speakers who will provide valuable insights into investment trends, opportunities, and the economic landscape of Bulawayo.

“The Mayor is expected to unveil specific projects and initiatives at the Gala Dinner to captivate potential investors. These showcase moments will demonstrate the city’s commitment to progress and innovation,” said one of the organisers, Miss Khaya Moyo.

Among the keynote speakers will be Dr Isaiah Brian Sovi, chairman of Imperial media which owns Imperial TV, a satellite signal provider based in Zambia with regional operation offices in South Africa. Others will be Mr Colls Ndlovu, an award-winning banker formerly with the South African Reserve Bank, and Mr Brilliant Ncube, the CEO of Kingdom Blue.

“Attendees can anticipate unparalleled networking opportunities with industry leaders and explore a myriad of potential investment prospects in Bulawayo. The Gala Dinner is designed to facilitate meaningful connections and discussions that transcend traditional business transactions,” said Miss Moyo.

The event’s main objectives include attracting investors, fostering partnerships, and showcasing the vast investment potential inherent in Bulawayo. Miss Moyo said, Clr Coltart’s participation is expected to lend significant gravitas to the event, underlining the commitment of the city’s leadership to bolstering economic development and attracting investment. Miss Moyo said the event presented the unique opportunity for Zimbabweans living in South Africa to be directly involved in the development of the City of Bulawayo.
