BMKA public relations officer, Greatmans Sibanda said: “All is set for the event. We are more than ready to host the tournament and it’s going to be a great day for the province because in every tournament new champions are born.

“This will give the province an opportunity to come up with a provincial team. Walter Zimunya the financial director of Radar Properties trading as Macdonald Bricks will grace the occasion, Lonely Nyati the managing director will be the guest of honour.

“Radar industries have previously sponsored our tournaments and recently donated a tatami (fighting mat) worth $2000 to the provincial association. Their support is greatly appreciated. The Zimbabwe National karate Federation president Sensei Joe Rugwete will also grace the event.”
