Bulawayo Prophet’s stand against payment for healing

Dynamite comes in small packages. This speaks of an unheralded Bulawayo-based prophet who has taken the city by storm, resulting in a huge following from Bulawayo and surrounding areas.

The Faith In God Ministries International (Leading Oasis of Deliverance Assembly in Bulawayo) founder Apostle Joseph Taderera despite his relatively low profile, his prophetic ministry has ignited a fervent wave of spiritual awakening among the populace.

The prophet’s messages, characterised by their simplicity, directness, and profound spiritual insights, have resonated deeply with people from all walks of life.

Their ability to connect with individuals on a personal level and offer practical solutions to their challenges has earned them a reputation as a spiritual guide and counsellor.

As a result, the ministry has witnessed unprecedented growth, attracting thousands of congregants to their services.

The impact of their teachings extends beyond the confines of the church, as the prophet’s message has spread through social media and word-of-mouth, captivating a wider audience and inspiring hope in a nation seeking spiritual renewal.

He also introduced proxy ministry healing, praying for people outside the country or Bulawayo, using deliverance ministers to intercede on their behalf. Apostle Taderera has made headlines for his unconventional approach to ministry.

Unlike many of his contemporaries who charge exorbitant fees for consultations and healings, he steadfastly refuses to accept any payment for his services.

The Apostle maintains that charging for spiritual assistance is a gross misrepresentation of the Christian faith.

“Many people have been miraculously healed from ailments such as cancer, stroke, and kidney failure, all without any cost to them.

“People from diverse religious backgrounds are flocking to our church seeking divine intervention, and we are honoured to provide it freely,” he said.

Apostle Taderera’s ministry emphasises the importance of selfless service, drawing inspiration from the Biblical account of Jesus Christ who healed the sick without financial gain.

“Jesus did not establish a healing business, He demonstrated God’s love and compassion, Our focus should be on spreading the gospel and ministering to people’s needs, not on profiting from their suffering,” explains Apostle Taderera.

By offering his gifts without charge, Apostle Taderera has challenged the prevailing commercialisation of faith and inspired countless individuals to seek spiritual healing without financial burden.
