THE Zimbabwe Republic Police have released a list of 284 motorists who were caught by street cameras in Bulawayo crossing through red lights.

National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the city’s electronic management system was currently capturing vehicle registration numbers only, adding that this was, however, a temporary measure.

“The Electronic Management System in Bulawayo is currently capturing vehicle registration numbers only. This is a temporary measure and an upgrade is underway to enhance the system’s capabilities. Once the upgrade is complete, the police will provide an update to the public on the particulars of motorists captured by the system,” said Comm Nyathi
