BULILIMA legislator Cde Dingumuzi Phuti has proposed relocating the Bulilima District administration offices to a location within the district.

At present, the Bulilima District Development Coordinator’s Offices, Bulilima Rural District Council and all government departments for Bulilima District are based in Plumtree town.

This arrangement has affected the effective management of programmes in the district.
The country’s 2024 performance report highlights that all local authorities, including Bulilima, failed to meet their service delivery targets, particularly in water provision, waste management, and infrastructure development.

Cde Phuti emphasized that for Bulilima District to prosper, it is crucial to move the offices within the district.
“We also envision the construction of Ndolwane road, which has got high volumes and that can only be done through promoting the growth of Bulilima.

“This can be done by migrating Bulilima offices and administration to a particular place outside Plumtree town so that we promote equitable development of our places,” said Cde Phuti.
