COMEDY lovers are in for a treat on Saturday as the Burg Comedy club is set to host a comedy show at the Roasted Bean Restaurant, Hillside in Bulawayo.
Burg comedy was founded by five comedians, Frank Chirisa, The General, Mbongeni Ignash, Dalu the Comedian and Brandon Masuku.
In an interview, Chirisa stated that they have a number of activities in store for comedy lovers.
“Burg comedy club is hosting its second edition at the new Roasted Bean restaurant. In this event, we will be having comedy, roast battles and games,” he said.
Chirisa stated that they have a number of comedians that are set to grace the event.
“I will be performing at the event alongside a number of comedians like Brandon Masuku, Chester, Cj Zulu and Chipenzi Da Comedian from Norton. Chipenzi is one of the fast rising comedians and we are excited to have him. We also have a guest artist, Cuniva,” he said.
He stated that they have a number of shows lined up for the year.
“We have a number of shows that we are set to host this year and a comedy battle among several comedians from Bulawayo, Masvingo and Harare,” he said.
