ZIFA EASTERN Region Division One side Grayham FC owner, Gray Hama, says he misses the beautiful game.

The Ruwa-based businessman has been trying to drag his team into the Premiership.

“I miss those weekends where we would travel as far as Chipinge, or Mutoko, to play football,’’ he said.

‘‘These are trying times and even, fitnesswise, we have been affected as we are now having road runs, only.

“I just hope we will get an opportunity to resume the sport.

‘‘The team was improving, when the pandemic struck, and our first season in Division One was an eye-opener.

‘‘t first, we wanted to be an academy but we relised that there was need to mix both youth and experience.’’ Hama says they managed to give jobs to some of their players.

‘‘Most of our players, we managed to give them jobs, and they are now taking care of their families,” said Hama.
