adminMr Shumba is the 1st plaintiff and Elite is the 2nd while the Apostolic Faith Mission of Portland, Oregon (International HQ), Mr Richard John Sibanda, Messrs Julius Matope and Milford Ndlovu and Green Gables High School are the 1st to 5th defendants.
Mr Shumba says the $30 million is for damages for wrongful eviction from Sub-division B of Dunstal Farm, Bulawayo, on 17 November 2009 by Messrs Sibanda and Ndlovu at the instance of the Apostolic Faith Mission of Portland.
He wants another payment of $20 million being damages for loss of income occasioned by the eviction.
Mr Shumba is demanding that he be paid another $15 million for use of his furniture, laboratory equipment, heating equipment and chemicals for the defendants’ financial benefits.
He also wants the immediate restoration of Elite Khami High School to Sub-division B of Dunstal Farm, Bulawayo, and that the cost of the suit is on an attorney-client scale.
The defendants have 10 days in which to enter an appearance to defend and if they do not enter an appearance to defend, the plaintiffs’ claims would be heard and dealt with by the High Court without further notice.
Mr Solomon Mguni, of Messrs Hwalima, Moyo and Associates is representing Mr Shumba.
