BYE ECOCASH, HELLO TN CYBERTECH!  Shareholders seal bold new chapter

ECOCASH Holdings is no more. The tech giant is rebranding to TN CyberTech Investments Holdings after shareholders gave the green light during a high-stakes extraordinary general meeting held last Friday.

The bold name change is being hailed as a major strategic shift as the company gears up to dive deeper into the fast-paced digital and cyber technology space.

In a formal resolution, shareholders agreed to drop the familiar EcoCash Holdings Zimbabwe Limited name and adopt TN CyberTech Investments Holdings Limited across all official documents, from the certificate of incorporation to the company’s trading profile.

But it is not just a name swap. The change is expected to come into full force once the Registrar of Companies issues a certificate confirming the switch.

The directors have been authorised to pull all the necessary strings to make it happen, signing documents, filing with regulators and doing whatever it takes to seal the deal.

The final stretch kicks off with the resolution being lodged at the Companies Office, and a public announcement set for 15 July. The company is expected to begin trading under its new identity on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange from 23 July 2025.

Market watchers say the move signals a rebranding masterstroke as the firm positions itself for the future in an increasingly tech-driven world.
