Byo City put a $20 000 prize tag on Waroowa?

BULAWAYO City FC have reportedly put a $20 000 prize tag on their midfielder Welcome a�?Waroowaa�? Ndiweni who is being chased by 2016 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions CAPS United.

Ndiweni (28), a former Highlanders and FC Platinum player is a great player marker who has previously played alongside Makepekepea��s industrious midfielder Joel a�?Jostaa�? Ngodzo at Bosso and Platinum.

a�?CAPS United are willing to get the services of Welcome Ndiweni and Bulawayo City are asking for $20 000,a�? said a well placed source.

Bulawayo City acting chairman Zenzo Moyo said they are yet to get official communication from CAPS United with regards to theirA� wish to snatch Ndiweni.

a�?There is a lot of talk that is going around with regards to players. However, as Bulawayo City we are yet to get official communication from CAPS United. A lot is being said about our players but I must sayd we are going to retain the bulk of our players for the 2017 season,a�? said Moyo.

Ndiweni left Highlanders at the end of the 2010 season after the club then under Mkhuphali Masuku decided not to renew his contract and he left for Masvingo United where he turned out for a year.

At the beginning of 2012, Ndiweni, who had a terrific season with Masvingo United, was lured by FC Platinum and signed a two-year deal with the Zvishavane club, reuniting with his former Highlanders teammate and close friend Ngodzo.

Ndiweni retraced his steps to Highlanders at the end of 2013 following the expiry of his contract with FC Platinum.

The ginger-haired midfielder quit Bosso in 2015 citing lack of game time to join Bulawayo City.
