Cabinet will today sit at 10am instead of the previously advertised 9am, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda said yesterday. He said this was to allow the swearing in of the Minister of Rural Development and Preservation of National Culture Heritage, Cde Abednigo Ncube at 9am.
“Chief Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda, wishes to advise that Cabinet will be sitting at 10am instead of 9am as advised. This is to allow the swearing in of the Minister of Rural Development and Preservation of National Culture Heritage Cde Abednigo Ncube at State House at 9am,” said the Ministry of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services in a statement yesterday.
Minister Ncube was not present when President Mugabe swore in five new ministers and 10 deputy ministers and re-assigned three ministers in a Cabinet reshuffle last Friday that saw two deputy ministers being dropped.
