Cabinet sits for first time since 2023 elections

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa is today chairing the first Cabinet meeting following the appointment of new ministers.

President Mnangagwa two weeks ago appointed a 26-cabinet ministers to be part of his administration.

The Cabinet meeting started at 9AM.

Acting Chief Secretary Dr Martin Rushwaya confirmed the Cabinet meeting.   “The Acting Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet would like to advise Cabinet members that the first Cabinet Meeting will be held at 9AM on Tuesday, 26th September, 2023 at the usual venue.  Members should be guided accordingly,” said Dr Rushwaya.

President Mnangagwa won the 2023 presidential election enabling him to set up a new Government.
