THE Colliery Stadium in Hwange will host the Zimbabwe Coaches Association CAF C Licence course from October 19-30.

The association’s Matabeleland North secretary-general Weekly Mwale said about 30 coaches will attend the course.

“Coaches from Hwange, Bulawayo, Kadoma, Victoria Falls and even Botswana have confirmed their participation in this course,” said Mwale.

He said former Zimbabwe Warriors’ coach Gibson Homela and Zifa technical director Takaendesa Jongwe will coordinate the course.

“The course fee is $350 and those coming from outside Hwange will be provided accommodation. We also require the coaches to bring passport size photos.”

Zifa Southern Region Division One side Hwange Under-20 assistant coach and Hwange Coaches Association chairman Edmore Sibanda urged coaches to come in their numbers for this rare opportunity.

“This is a chance for us coaches to upgrade ourselves and ensure that going into the future we are also highly recognised professionals in the sport.

“As coaches, we all have high ambitions so this is an opportunity not to be missed,” said Sibanda.
