CAF increases AFCON prize money

CAF yesterday announced a 40 per cent increase in the prize money for the winner of the 2023 Afcon tournament in Cote d’ Ivoire. 

The winner will receive US$7 million while losing finalists will now get US$4 000 000 and the semi-finalists will receive US$2 500 000 each with the four quarter-finalists will pocket US$1 300 000 each.
