Senior Business Reporter

Caltex Braford Lubricants, a leading player in Zimbabwe’s lubricants market, has launched Lubewatch, an innovative oil analysis product designed to optimise customer operations.

Speaking on the sidelines of the recently held Mine Entra exhibition at the Zimbabwe Exhibition Centre, the company’s Marketing Executive, Mrs. Sindisiwe Zinyuke revealed that the new service utilises advanced technology to analyse oil samples, providing valuable insights into equipment condition, contamination levels, and lubricant performance. The results are then presented to customers, enabling informed maintenance decisions.

“Lubewatch represents a significant leap forward in predictive maintenance,” said Mrs Zinyuke.

“By monitoring oil health, our customers can identify potential challenges before they become major problems, reducing downtime and extending equipment lifespan.”

This development underscores Caltex Braford Lubricants’ commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. Lubewatch compliments the company’s existing product range, enhancing its value proposition in the automotive, industrial, and mining sectors.

“Regular oil analysis is crucial for maintaining equipment efficiency,” Mrs Zinyuke added.

“Lubewatch empowers our customers to make data-driven decisions, minimizing wear and tear, and maximising productivity.”

Mrs Zinyuke said key benefits of Lubewatch include predictive maintenance capabilities, enhanced equipment reliability, extended lubricant lifespan, reduced maintenance costs, personalised reporting and recommendations

Caltex Braford Lubricants’ investment in Lubewatch reflects the company’s focus on delivering tailored solutions to Zimbabwe’s growing industries.

Lubewatch is now available to Caltex Braford Lubricants’ customers nationwide, with sampling and analysis services provided through the company’s extensive network.
