SCOTTLAND skipper Walter Musona has never won a match against his former teams and Simba Bhora will be praying for his misfortune to continue when they visit Rufaro on Sunday.
The two clubs are enjoying a decent start, which has seen them racking up 19 points apiece.
They are just three points behind leaders MWOS, who are dictating the pace after 10 games.
The champions are going to invade the capital to face a side whose core members helped them win the championship last season.
It is also the biggest fixture of the Castle Lager Premiership Match Day 11.
The two clubs, who have taken over the limelight from the country’s Big Three – Dynamos, Highlanders, and CAPS United w- will be out to seize the opportunity.
Musona, Vasili Kawe, Albert Manenji, Talbert Shumba, Mthokozisi Msebe, Tichaona Chipunza, and Taimon Mvura left the champions to join Scottland.
Simba Bhora also did the same when they secured their top-flight league slot from the ZIFA Northern Region Division One Soccer League.
Many PSL teams, especially Makepekepe and Dynamos, felt hard done by when Simba lured some of their best players.
It is hard to predict the outcome of this match but it is easy to guess that it will resemble a cup final.
A big crowd is expected to witness this heavyweight affair.
Musona has performed below par against his former teams.Simba Bhora lost home and away last season when they played his former side, FC Platinum.
The bad luck appears to have followed him to his new base, where they also shared spoils with the same team this season.
Musona won his PSL championship with FC Platinum four seasons ago. Simba Bhora vice-captain Webster Tafa has predicted a tough match.
“These are the games we dream of playing as footballers because of the hype and expectations from both teams,” said Tafa.
“We are going to give it our best fight and our target is to collect maximum points but it is not going to be easy.
“Scottland have quality players who can cause harm any time if we take them for granted. It is a game that demands maximum concentration from whoever is selected to play.”
