A delegation from Canada is in the country scouting for business opportunities in ICT, mining, agriculture, education and manufacturing.
Foreign and International Trade Minister, Ambassador Frederick Shava met with the Canada-Africa Chamber of Business board chair, Paula Caldwell St-Onge and her team at his offices.
“We are very excited to be here in Zimbabwe,” she said.
The delegation was accompanied by Canadian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Alder Aristilde.
President Mnangagwa’s engagement and re-engagement drive is paying off, with countries formerly perceived as hostile to Zimbabwe now warming up to the country.
Canada is the second largest country in the world in area (after Russia), and occupies roughly the northern two-fifths of the continent of North America.
