He’s not even in the movie, but Nick Cannon definitely stole the spotlight at the movie première of Ride Along. The America’s Got Talent host donned a pair of thick and nerdy glasses while attending the première of Ride Along at the TCL Chinese theatre in Hollywood, California on Monday night.
He also flashed his big goofy smile and rounded out his tuxedo with some silver bling proudly displaying the letter N, for Nick of course, and a pair of unusual black and white striped shoes.
After Nick’s display, the actual stars of the movie took turns walking the red carpet.
Nick Hart, who plays a fast talking security guard named Ben, hammed it up for the red carpet and posed with co-star Bryan Callen and several others including model Eniko Parish.
Ice Cube, who plays Ben’s soon-to-be brother in law cop James, arrived with his wife Kimberly Woodruff.
Nick’s love interest in the film is James’ sister Angela, played by Tika Sumpter who looked ravishing in a hot pink backless and sleeveless gown.
In the movie, Ben (Nick Hart) joins James (Ice Cube) on a 24-hour patrol of Atlanta to prove that he is worthy of marrying Angela.
And even though the movie hasn’t been released yet, the stars are already planning a sequel, according to the Wall Street Journal blog.
“I think we’ll definitely do it again, especially if y’all liked the movie and y’all want to see a Part 2,” rapper and actor Ice Cube said during a question and answer session Thursday night in Chicago.
When asked how they would maintain the flair of “Ride Along” in a sequel, Ice Cube said, “When we do the sequel, we’re not going to be borrowing jokes from the first one.
“We’re going to do a whole new movie that’s going to be fresh and fly.”
Kevin Hart was asked what it was like to work with Ice Cube.
“We had a ball,” Hart said.
“Me and Cube — we have great chemistry as you can see on camera.
“We got along well.
“We both had the same agenda.
“We both wanted to make a great film. Cube was really, really adamant about making sure that we had a comedy that was unique.”
The film comes out in theatres on January 17. — Dailymail.
