CAPS United have parted ways with coach Ian Bakala and his technical team.

The decision follows a poor season for the Green Machine, resulting in the team narrowly securing their top-flight status.

Takesure Chiragwi is favourite to take over at the Harare giants.

Bakala assumed the head coaching role after Lloyd Chitembwe left the position to be Technical Director.

“The club is poised for a new chapter. In pursuit of a robust revival, the leadership is leaving nothing to chance, intending to commence rebuilding imminently and establish a formidable foundation for future success,” said an insider.

The club is expected to officially announce Bakala’s successor in the coming days.
