CAPS fire Chinogwenya

SHAKESPEARE Chinogwenya, the veteran CAPS United team manager, has been fired from his post as part of the restructuring of the club’s technical staff.

Club president Farai Jere announced the move on Wednesday and said Chonogwenya will be reassigned to work elsewhere where he will not be involved in football matters.

There has been reports of conflict within the club’s technical staff amid a poor run by the Green Machine.

Head coach Lloyd Chitembwe has been given two games while the club searches for solutions, including the possible appointment of a new technical staff.

Zambia Under-17 coach Ian Bakala, a former star midfielder at Makepekepe, is now expected in the country on Thursday as part of the exercise to find solutions to the challenges besetting the club.
