The teams have just concluded warm-up and will be coming out shortly for the national anthem. However, there are concerns about the degeneration of the turf at Rufaro because of over-use. The venue will tomorrow host Scottland and Yadah.

Former Highlanders coach Pieter de Jongh is part of the spectators for today’s match.
He has been ushered into the VVIP tribune by Bosso officials.
There is growing speculation the Bulawayo giants could be targeting the Dutch coach for possible reunion.
Highlanders are currently under the tutelage of an interim coach Try Ncube following the sacking of Kelvin Kaindu recently. De Jongh had a brief stint with Highlanders in 2019 and won the Chibuku Super Cup. During his short time as the Highlanders‘ coach, Bosso won 8 games drew 6 and lost once. De Jongh also had stints with FC Platinum, Silver Dtars of Malawi and Jwaneng Stars of Botswana recently.

Giants CAPS United and Highlanders could not be separated at half time as goals remained elusive in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Rufaro.
It has been a tale of missed chances as both teams are not clinical upfront.
Bosso twice missed from crosses with Brian Mlotshwa sending his header over the bar early in the match.
Then, midfielder Tanaka Shandirwa dragged his low shot just wide of the target after 22 minutes with goalkeeper Reward Muza rooted to the line.
Highlanders today are being captained by Darlington Munkuli, in the absence of injured captain, Andrew Mbeba.
His absence was showing as the Bosso defence has been a bit shaky and lacking in leadership.
Goalkeeper Muza made a crucial save after 37 minutes after CAPS United’s Congolese forward Chris Mugalu had headed down a cross from Phineas Bamusi.
Highlanders won a freekick just outside the box after Never Rauzhi was brought down by Kelvin Mangiza.
