CAPS United president Farai Jere has confirmed that goalkeeper Wallace Magalane will not be part of the club’s project after a series of blunders that cost the club.

Jere was speaking on Monday at the unveiling of the new goalkeeper, veteran Washington Arubi, who is expected to assume responsibility.

“Some of these blunders cannot be made even by someone from primary school,” said Jere.

“At the CAPS United project, we don’t tolerate that. I’m happy that even the goalkeeper who is coming in is hearing this.

“We accept certain things, and there are some things we do not accept at all.

“You don’t make mistakes every match and people say you should have given him more time, let him sit on the bench, whose bench? Take him to your own club.

“We don’t want to see the boy near this project. Not at CAPS United. He will be getting his salary while at home. We are not taking anything away from him.”
