CAPS United booked their place in the NetOne Easycall Cup semi-finals with a 3-1 win over Hwange at the National Sport Stadium yesterday.

The Green Machine wasted a number chances in the first half before getting it right in the second half to secure the win.
Caps United dominated the first half action with Dominic Chungwa striking the woodwork in the first half but the match was goalless at the halftime.

Eight minutes into the second half Caps United made their dominance count when they went ahead from the penalty spot when Moses Muchenje converted after Bamusi was brought down.

The impressive Joel Ngodzo doubled the lead before he turned provider as Hardlife Zvirekwi struck the third with a well taken strike. Hwange got themselves a consolation just before fulltime through Aleck Marime. — Sports Reporter
