CAPS United wary of stubborn Students

CAPS United would be hoping to build on the momentum they built in their last two games when they play their bogey side Herentals in a Castle Lager Premiership League match tomorrow at Mandava.

The Green Machine’s assistant coach Tostao Kwashi believes it would be a tough derby match away from home.

Makepekepe have managed four points in two matches after applying brakes to a three-match winless streak.

“We will play to win. We will fight. It is going to be a tough game. Herentals have never been for us. Every time we play them we know it’s a mammoth task.

“It’s a Harare derby being played in Zvishavane. You know in derbies, whoever applies total commitment will come up with a positive result. We respect Herentals but we need three points even though it is going to be difficult,” said Kwashi.

CAPS United sit seventh on the log standings with 24 points from 15 games, after they were awarded the abandoned match against Sheasham on a 3-0 scoreline during the midweek.

CAPS United engaged a period of stability for the past few months and had a brilliant start to the campaign before hitting turbulence.

“At CAPS United, we want success and we take motivation from the past game,” he said. Makepekepe, however, need to improve on their scoring ratio.
