South African rapper and songwriter Refiloe Maele Phoolo, professionally known as Cassper Nyovest, has celebrated his son Khotso’s sixth birthday with a sweet tribute to his little boy.
The rapper took to social media to mark the special occasion, sharing a short video that captured a birthday cake decorated with sprinkles and white cream. The cake featured the number six, representing the milestone birthday.
In the video, Khotso can be seen wearing a Spider-Man mask and outfit as he celebrates his big day. The young boy then blows out the candle on his birthday cake, making the moment even more special.
Cassper Nyovest accompanied the video with a heartfelt birthday message dedicated to his son.
He wrote, “Happy birthday to the most amazing son in the world. Khotso Izwe Simba Phoolo aka Spider-Man.”
Khotso’s mother and Cassper Nyovest’s ex-partner, Thobeka Majozi, also took to social media to celebrate their son’s sixth birthday.
Majozi shared a playful tribute referencing her son’s love for the famous superhero, writing, “| still can’t believe I gave birth to Spiderman. 6 years down. A life time to go!”
In another post, she shared a more emotional message about motherhood and the joy her son has brought into her life.
She said, “Happy birthday my love. What a blessing to be able to see the world through your eyes. I didn’t know life could look so beautiful.”
Cassper Nyovest and Thobeka Majozi were together for about five years, from 2017 to 2022. Their relationship eventually came to an end around 2022, with the rapper publicly confirming their breakup in February 2024 during an interview on Mpoomy Ledwaba’s Podcast.
The former couple welcomed their son, Khotso, in September 2020. Since then, both parents have continued to publicly celebrate important milestones in his life.
Cassper Nyovest went on to marry his wife, Pulane Phoolo (Mojaki), in April 2024 during a private traditional ceremony in Mahikeng, North West, South Africa.
The rapper and Pulane Phoolo have also welcomed a daughter together, who was born in December 2025.
As Khotso celebrates six years, his birthday was filled with superhero-inspired fun, loving messages and warm wishes from both of his parents – OK.
