Suspected rhino poacher shot dead

A 79-year-old suspected rhino poacher was shot dead at Bubi Conservancy in Beitbridge during a shootout with game rangers, police said on Tuesday.
The Officer Commanding Police in Beitbridge District, Chief Superintendent Lawrence Chinhengo, said the incident occurred on Saturday at about 5.30pm at Taula Safari Ranch under Bubi Conservancy, east of the border town. The two men were tracking a rhino spoor.
