ZIMBABWE’S largest financial services group by asset, CBZ Holdings has declared a $1,6 million interim dividend for the six months ended June 30, 2016.
The group’s corporate legal secretary Ms Rumbidzayi Jakanani said in a notice yesterday the dividend would be payable in full to all shareholders of the company sometime this month.
“Notice is hereby given that the board declared an interim dividend of $1,6 million (0,23 US cents per share) for the six months ended June 30, 2016, payable in respect of all the ordinary shares of the company.
“The payment of the dividend will take place on or about November 11, 2016.
“The applicable withholding tax will be deducted from the gross dividends,” she said.
Mrs Jakanani said shares of the company would be traded cum-dividend on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange up to the market day of October 21 and ex-dividend from October 24, 2016.
For the year ended December 31, 2015, CBZ Holdings declared an annual dividend of $2,9 million-10 percent up from the prior dividend.
