Cde Victor Kuretu honoured in Mufakose church service

The body of national hero, Cde Victor Kuretu, has arrived at the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe, Mufakose, for a church service.

Cde Kuretu will be buried tomorrow at the National Heroes Acre.

President Mnangagwa is expected to preside over the burial.

Friends and relatives are in attendance as they bid farewell to the national hero.

He is survived by his wife, Rita, nine children, and 34 grandchildren.

Senior Government officials, Zanu PF officials and Cde Kuretu’s widow, Rita, are also present.

Zanu PF Women’s League Secretary for External Affairs, Cde Betty Kaseke, and Zanu PF Council of Elders member, Cde Idah Mashonganyika, are also in attendance.

After the church service, Cde Kuretu’s body will be taken to Mufakose Community Hall, where friends and relatives will bid their final farewells.
