CFAO Mobility Zimbabwe has expanded its vehicle portfolio with the launch of the Suzuki Across, a premium mild hybrid sport utility vehicle (SUV), as the company moves to meet rising demand for fuel-efficient and technologically advanced vehicles in the local market.
The launch comes as motorists increasingly seek vehicles that combine lower fuel consumption with modern safety features, comfort and reliability amid high motoring costs.
Speaking at the launch, CFAO Mobility Zimbabwe managing director Mr Carl Varga said the new model has been introduced to address changing customer expectations.
“Zimbabwean motorists are looking for vehicles that make sense on more than one level,” he said.
“They want comfort, presence, efficiency, safety and dependable support after purchase. The Suzuki Across brings those things together in a way that is very relevant for our market.
“We are proud to stock a vehicle that gives customers a premium SUV experience, backed by the assurance of CFAO Mobility Zimbabwe.”
The Suzuki Across is a spacious mild hybrid SUV featuring intelligent safety systems, driver-assistance technology, smartphone connectivity, a modern infotainment system and a large luggage compartment, targeting families, business executives and entrepreneurs.
CFAO Mobility Zimbabwe general manager for the Multibrand Business Unit, Mr Lawrence Mawoni, said the latest model represented a significant step in the evolution of the Suzuki brand in Zimbabwe.
“The Suzuki Across tells a bigger story about the brand. Suzuki has earned trust in Zimbabwe because it understands practical motoring, but this model shows that practicality can also be premium,” he said.
“It gives existing Suzuki customers a natural upgrade path and gives new customers a smart alternative to used premium imports or high-running-cost luxury SUVs.”
Mr Mawoni said the launch formed part of its strategy to increase the availability of modern, fuel-efficient vehicles while supporting the country’s transition towards more environmentally conscious transport solutions.
