FORMER Highlanders Football Club winger Daniel Msendami who plays for Botswana outfit Jwaneng Galaxy has opened up on his feelings ahead of a possible debut in the CAF Champions League this week.
Jwaneng are the defending champions of the Botswana Premier League hence they will be participating in this season’s CAF Champions League edition where their journey begins this Saturday with a home tie against Ugandan side Vipers.
“It is a dream come true for me to be honest. Having to see the world and express my talent is the best feeling ever.
“It is not going to be easy I know but if I have the chance to play I will also do my best for myself, my team, my family and everyone who believes in me.”

Msendami is not the only Zimbabwean in the team that might have the chance to play continental football, Nqobizitha Masuku and Cleopas Dube are other Zimbabweans in the team.
The Botswana champions have been preparing for the preliminary continental tie with the previous two weeks having been action packed. They participated in the General Manager’s tournament which also included Msendami’s former team, Bosso90, a tournament which they won. Jwaneng Galaxy also participated in the Mangaung Challenge in South Africa, another tournament which they also won.
“These tournaments were competitive and as such assisted the team to prepare for the important task ahead,” Msendami told Zimpapers Sports Hub.
He hopes to make it to the squad when they play against Vipers this Saturday.
