PROMISING Eastern Region Division One outfit Destiny Stars have parted ways with their team manager Lloyd Chinawa under unclear circumstances.
Destiny Stars chairman David Bati confirmed Chinawa’s exit from the club.
“Yes, he wrote to me that he is no longer part of us,” said Bati.
Although the actual reasons behind Chinawa’s exit were not clear, Post Sport understands that he was being sidelined in the clubs’ crucial activities hence his eventual resignation.
An old hand in the job, Chinawa has been a team manager with the Young Warriors and the now defunct Highway.
Chinawa refused to divulge reasons behind his resignation.
“We need to let sleeping dogs lie. I wish the club well,” he said.
Destiny Stars finished last season mid-table in the ZIFA Eastern Region Division One League.
