Chapungu head coach Marimo dies

CHAPUNGU Football Club head coach Tawanda Marimo has died.

Marimo reportedly died at Gweru’s General Hospital after a short illness.
“Everyone at Chapungu FC is devastated by this heartbreaking loss. Coach Marimo was not only a tactician but also a mentor, leader, and pillar of strength within the Waru Waru family. His dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the team will never be forgotten. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched,” said the former Premier Soccer League (PSL) side in a statement released on Monday.

Details regarding funeral and burial arrangements will be shared in due course.
