Charambas to collaborate on new album

Olivia, have started working on their first collaboration album.

The album is expected to be a masterpiece, as it will feature two great Zimbabwean gospel musicians.

In an interview, Amai Charamba said the collaboration album would be titled Baba naAmai Charamba.

“We have decided to record our first collaboration album as the Charambas as a lot of people have been making that request,” she said.

Amai Charamba said all the songs for the album were going to be composed by Baba Charamba.

“So since I am not yet ready to compose, we decided to give Pastor Charamba the task to compose the songs for our collaboration album.

“On the album I am only going to feature as a lead vocalist on some of the songs like what I have always done on all my albums.

“All the songs that have given me fame were composed by my husband who has been in the music industry for some time,” she said.

The gospel diva said the album was going to be released later during the year as they were working on their solo projects.

“At the moment we are working on our solo projects and once we are done then we are going to shift our focus to the collaboration album.

“The album is likely to take a bit long before it is released on to the market,” she said.

The Daily Bread hit maker said fans should expect fireworks from the collaboration album.

“We are going to try and take our time on the album as we have got a lot of issues to critique before we release the album on to the market.

“The scrutinising is going to help us produce something that is worth listening to,” she said.

Amai Charamba said the album is expected to transform a lot of people who were experiencing difficulties in life.

“Our motto as singers is to spread the Word of the Lord through our music.

“So most of our songs that we sing come from the Word as it is written in the Bible,” she said.

Amai Charamba said this was going to be her second collaboration as she once worked with her friends on her first album.

“I am happy to be working with my husband on the collaboration album as we have never done anything together,” she said.

Pastor Charamba said he was also excited with the idea of working with his wife on their collaboration album.

“We have been doing solo projects for a very long time so this time we have decided to do a collaboration project as the Charambas,” he said.
