Chatunga Mugabe case postponed, gun still missing

JOHANNESBURG – The attempted murder case against Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe and co-accused Tobias Matonhodze has been postponed to next Wednesday.

The two pleaded guilty last week to several counts, including the attempted murder of employee Sipho Mahlangu.

He was shot twice in the back.

Both men have also admitted to being in South Africa illegally.

The defence has been granted more time to consult with their clients.

The whereabouts of the firearm used in the shooting is the sticking point in a plea deal.- ENCA
