COMIC Pastor’s fans are saluting him after he hinted that he was walking away from the comedy scene with one fan saying that a good dancer knows when to leave the stage.

The UK-based comedian announced on his social media platforms that he was calling it quits and his fans have been praising him for his decision.

“Indeed, the best dancer knows the right time to leave the stage,” said one of his fans.

“Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I never skipped any of your videos, I always reacted before watching.”

Another fan added: “No matter what, you will remain unmatched, you brought so much laughter to an extent that you healed the broken hearted in difficult times.

“Like they say all good things must come to an end l wish you the best in your next awesome chapter.

“Keep mentoring, musamira you might not be at the forefront but kumashure ikoko you will be exceptional.

“Cheers Comic Pastor.”

The Comic Pastor’s impact on Zimbabwe’s comedy scene has been massive.

Through his innovative Monthly Comic Awards, he provided a platform for numerous artists to showcase their talent, uplifting the industry.

His contributions were especially significant during the Covid-19 pandemic, when his humour brought much-needed relief to a nation in lockdown.

“I shared my limelight time with others and I was not a one-man band,” he said.

“I retire with joy, having passed the baton and helped others.

“July has been a great month for me. I have received so much love from people I feel I did little in helping them yet these people highly regard me as a mentor, as their inspiration, and role model.

“I appreciate you too Gamue, Lorraine Guyo Productions – Chihera Comic Elder nyangwe zvangu (NDAPERA) yes I can feel it I am (EMPTY).”
