Participants will compete in athletics, basketball, volleyball, football, tennis, table tennis, netball and chess.
Chemhere said they are expecting the team to raise the nation’s flag high when they fight for honours with other students from the Southern African region.
“This time we are geared up for glory and I think we are going to come out first. Obviously this year our selection was more objective, we had to select the best
players from our colleges and universities. We have been in camp preparing for the games and also we have better resources, with better resources we can always do better.
“We are going to field athletes in all the sporting disciplines. Normally athletics is an area we have been doing well as well as tennis, basketball and netball.
