Chess whiz kid seeks sponsorship

A CHESS player from Ihlathi High School in Bulwayo, Abraham Moyo, is seeking sponsorship to enable him to travel to Egypt.
Moyo aged 14 is a Form Two pupil at the Tshabalala secondary school. He has participated in many championships and has won a number of games and tournaments. The future certainly looks bright for him if gets sponsorship
Moyo is appealing for sponsorship which can be in cash or kind.

He was selected to represent the Zimbabwe team in the Africa Junior Championships in Egypt next month.
Due to lack of sponsorship his trip is in doubt.

Moyo is itching to go to Egypt and play against some of the continent’s finest juniors.
‘‘I was among those selected to represent Zimbabwe in Egypt next month but my trip still hangs in the balance because I do not have money for the trip. Ten juniors were selected but only the top three managed to get sponsorship.

“The rest of us have to find our own sponsors. I am eager to go to Egypt and play against the best in my age-group from Africa,’’ said Moyo.
The boy’s manager Nkosinathi Ncube also appealed to companies and individuals to assist his player.
